For our part, the Patrick Power Library is open up to 15 hours a day, serving students and others by the thousands. Our staff should be ready to handle some of the more common emergencies.
If you ever feel a situation warrants more than you can handle, call your supervisor to assess the situation, or contact Security for assistance.

To contact Campus Security, dial 5000 if it is urgent, or 5577 for non-emergencies.

In all cases, please contact your supervisor to let them know what is happening. Each time Security is contacted, the incident should be recorded in the Circulation Log Binder, found at the Circulation Desk.

- A person who is behaving in an aggressive or threatening manner
- Theft

- A patron who appears to be up to some mischief, but is not aggressive
