Anyone who wishes to borrow library material must present her own current University ID, Public Library card, Off Campus card, or CAUL or CURBA card.
In order to maintain privileges, patrons must provide us with current address, phone, and email information.

BASIC RULES
- Most items may be renewed a maximum of three times. Items on Hold for another patron cannot be renewed.
- An item may be Recalled by library staff before its due date, for the use of another patron.
- Most items are subject to an overdue fine rate of 25 cents a day, but other materials have fine rates that accumulate hourly, such as Reserve material.
- Most items have a 'grace' period (a time during which fines are not imposed) of seven days. Short-term loan items may have shorter grace periods.
- There is no limit to the number of items a patron may sign out at one time, or have signed out on his account, except for Reserve items. Only three Reserve items can be signed out at one time.
- Material owned by other Novanet members may be governed by other rules. We are obliged to apply these rules.
